Coal Preparation Congress
The International
Coal preparation Congress will take place
from 25th to 30th April 2010 at the Lexington
Convention Centre, Kentucky, USA.
Full details are available on the Congress website at http://ipc2010.com and it is here where you will find registration charges and how to book your hotel. In summary the registration fee is $875 (c £450) for full delegates and at $275 (c £170) for partners if you book before 1st February 2010.
The Congress Hotel is the Marriott Griffin Gate, Lexington, and booking should be made with the Hotel. The rate is $149 per night room only and regular transport will be arranged from the Hotel to the Conference Centre throughout the day.
The organisers have booked virtually all the rooms at the Marriott and it is recommended that you use this hotel, as evening receptions etc will be hosted there. There are daily flights from Manchetser and Birmingham to the USA with plenty of connections to Lexington from major airports in the USA.
Post Congress tours are detailed on the website for those wishing to see some of the local coal preparation plants and other places of interest.
Taking place at the same time as the Congress is the Coal Preparation Equipment Exhibition, located at the Congress Centre. This will be the largest Coal Preparation Exhibition anywhere in the world with over 250 booths.
